Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 8, 2026
Thank you for playing Hexhunter. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what information the app does — and does not — collect. In short: Hexhunter does not collect, store, or share any personal information.
The short version
- No account required. There is no sign-up, login, or profile.
- No personal data collected. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, contacts, photos, or location.
- No tracking. We do not use analytics SDKs, advertising identifiers, or cross-app tracking. Hexhunter does not follow you across other apps or websites.
- Your progress stays on your device. Unlocks, relics, essence, best times, achievements, and settings are saved locally on your device only.
Data stored on your device
Hexhunter saves your game progress locally using your device's standard app storage (UserDefaults). This includes things like unlocked heroes and stages, purchased relics, essence balance, best survival times, earned achievements, and your gameplay/sound preferences. This data never leaves your device and is deleted if you delete the app.
Game Center (optional)
If you choose to sign in to Game Center (Apple's gaming service), Hexhunter can submit your survival-time and kill scores to leaderboards and report achievements so you can compare progress with other players. This is entirely optional — the game is fully playable without it. Any data handled through Game Center is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy (apple.com/legal/privacy), not this one. Hexhunter does not receive your Apple ID or personal account details.
In-app purchases
Hexhunter offers optional in-app purchases (for example, unlocking content or removing future ads). Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or store your payment information, credit card number, or billing address. Purchase and restore transactions are handled by Apple's StoreKit framework.
Advertising
Hexhunter version 1.0 does not display third-party advertisements and does not include any advertising or tracking SDKs. If advertising is added in a future update, this policy will be updated first and any ad partners disclosed here.
Children's privacy
Hexhunter does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Because the app collects no personal data at all, it is safe for players of all ages (rated 9+ for fantasy violence).
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
